NRL Late Mail Round 4: AJ to the centres; Sloan to start

The Dragons have been forced into a backline reshuffle with Moses Suli to miss the Titans game for personal reasons.

The Titans have handed an NRL debut to young dummy half Oliver Pascoe.

Both teams have made further changes on game day, with a shuffle of their forwards, halves and outside backs.

Titans: More changes to the line up on game day. AJ Brimson will start at centre, with Lachlan Ilias moving in to pair with Jayden Campbell in the halves. Max Feagai moves to the interchange, as does Moeaki Fotuaika, with Klese Haas to start. Jett Liu remains on the interchange bench. Earlier, Tukimihia Simpkins and Josh Patston dropped out and Jaylan De Groot and debutant Oliver Pascoe moved up from the reserves. Earlier, Jayden Campbell was named to wear the No.7 jersey and lead the Titans around the park after being a late inclusion in the starting side last week. The halfback showed no signs of a hamstring injury that kept him off the field in the opening two rounds and is looking to steer Gold Coast to victory. Josh Hannay has the luxury of stability as the Titans chase their first win of the year.

Dragons: More changes for the Dragons as well on game day. Tyrell Sloan will start on the win, with Setu Tu omitted. Other changes see Hame Sele move to start at lock, with Hamish Stewart onto the interchange. Lyhkan King-Togia remains on the interchange. Earlier, Hayden Buchanan came into the centres with Moses Suli (personal reasons) out of the game. Tyrell Sloan moves up into the six-player interchange bench, with Lyhkan King-Togia remaining in the reserves. Identical twins Ryan (suspension) and Toby (concussion protocols) Couchman will miss Sunday night's clash with the Titans, paving the way for Blake Lawrie to start at prop and Hamish Stewart at lock. Coach Shane Flanagan has opted to use Stewart off the bench in the opening weeks of the season, so we could see Hame Sele come into the starting side on game day.
